Yew Tree Cottage was originally two farm cottages built in 1882 of Cotswold stone. Ian and Jane began an extensive restoration project in 1984 to preserve these beautiful Victorian cottages, with a major extension in 1992. Three bedrooms are available, two doubles and a single room, all with ensuite and luxuriously furnished.
Downstairs, two relaxation rooms are open for use including a lounge with a wood burner, books and games and the TV room with premium television with a selection of DVDs. The Gymnasium is open into the evening if you aren't tired out from your walks!
The rear of the property opens up into the Sun Room that leads out onto a raised decking with scenic views of the Harescombe Valley. Here, breakfast is served.
The cottage gardens are free to walk in at your leisure. In the summer months table tennis can be played on the back patio and Badminton on the top lawn. The top patio provides for an evening sitting area with a chiminea, available for use when appropriate. So come along relax and enjoy.
